Yes, Zeta is right. Below is a link to a pick of an original belt - you can see how the covers go on and the top of the belt is there with the power connections, etc.

OH MY! AUCTION PHOTOS!!! *shivers*

Never trust them for "dressing" Jenne. As Hand-Schaub pointed out, they are always all sorts of messed up. It would not surprise me if they had the boots for gloves! They all have the forearm armors backwards and the boot armor goofed up too. UGH!

That's easy to say... - but it's hard to tell what are "acution photos" I know.
That's why you got your Cylon pals here! We are happy to help.

Laminate a canvas layer on the inside of the suit for support and strength.

Also a good idea.

I have a question about the backpack. How do you wear it ? Is you's loose on your shoulders ? Or do you have a strapping System to hold it in the right Position ?

To my knowledge, no strapping was used for holding up the backpack on the original costume.

It simply rides on your shoulders without additional attachments.

Krop suits have straps, a REAL Cylon has a 2 x 3 patch of Velcro under the chin plate that supports the chest plate. That is all to be a REAL Cylon.
