The 1978 Cylon Centurion has a metal mesh skirting. It is not chainmail - but mesh. Nor is there any fabric, it is pure metal.

Screen Accurate Details:
  • Metal Mesh
  • 24" x 24"
  • Approx. 1.8 lbs
  • Connects in three spots to the under suit (left corner, center, right corner)
  • Gunmetal gray in color
  • 2MM squares - with clipped corners form the mesh
  • Cost: Around $200 plus or minus
Whiting & Davis sells a correct mesh in the correct color.

From time-to-time By Your Command members may organize a mass purchase to drive cost down with the buying power of a large group.

Low cost alternative:
  • Various sparkling fabrics that have a metal look

Which one is it? This seems to match the clipped corner description, but they don't list gunmetal as a color.

The correct color is Gunmetal... PM Darth Clayton, he ordered some. It could be a "non-standard" color they don't list out. There is a not they can colorize to any Pantone number.

If "they" say it can't be done, it just means "they" cant do it.

It's a bit pricey but if you want a 100% screen-accurate Centurion, this is a MUST!

I have tried three times to get ahold of someone to order my skirting with no success. I’m getting mad that they won’t 1 answer the phone 2 return my emails. How did you get your skirting from them

I'm pretty sure another member had issues with emails to them being blocked. They seem to ignore all Yahoo email accounts.

May try an email from another domain and hopefully have more luck.

I called earlier and spoke to somebody but still got no price or have a way to order it.

When I do get a price I will post it up here and if anyone else is looking for one I can place a bigger order

When I ordered mine back in July 2015 I sent an email to them asking for a quote and shipping price to the U.K. They emailed me back with a price of $195 for the skirt and it was $66 shipping. Had great communication with them too. They even emailed me an invoice and told me a date that they would ship my order. I was using google mail if that helps if there is a problem with yahoo. :salute:

I sent them a request for the price for a piece. I switched to the google account I have and I am waiting for a answer.

Got a response today.

Have to order a minimum of two pieces to place a order

128$ for the fabric not including shipping. They are in New Jersey and I’m in CT so shipping won’t be too much to get it to me. I however need someone else to order one to get the order or I can order two and have one available for someone at a later date
