That is kind of odd that you say that, and yet so true, and even in todays Galactica the advancement in the future, or past (where ever they are at in time to our time) they even have stepped back in time a bit to use the older props and thing from 50's era , like the phone's , lighters, radio's, and ect ect.
The same with a good old fashioned light bulb does the trick a high tech L.E.D. can't do.
