Daggit Eye Spheres

A big thank you to John (SkullBeast) for sending me the Daggit eye spheres. They showed up today, and fit like a glove in the Vostock piece. They were nice and thick, real thick so it took my worry away about boiling them. Awesome timing with the dye still of the stove, and still warm. I fired up the stove again to get the dye hot to almost a boil. I took 2 of the spheres and submerged them in, and took a loot and touch after about 1 minute and they seemed to be fine. So dropped them back in, and let them stay in an other 10 minutes. I came back to pull them out and they looked a bit cloudy, but I new they were going to work. I let them cool off a bit, and they placed them side by side untouched set. Well I was real happy that I think I nailed it. These look awesome, and will work. An other notch in the belt on making headway with getting the Daggit completed piece at a time.

Are you allowed to say where John got the spheres?

Kitkraft Dale has the # on the package. They are 2 inch. They come with an injection molded nipple that you have to remove then wetsand out. Then mcguieres plastic polish.

I just noticed that nipple on the 3rd package. I have to say thank you for doing the leg work on that, and giving the description on what to do. I would have whacked it off with a knife or something.
The KitKraft.biz phone number is 1-818-509-9739, and part number 3857
Again thanks John

Very cool!

Man, I could see how Eve would get fussy after looking out the tinted bug eyes for awhile.

Believe it or not the color doesn't effect the vision at all because it is so close, but the untouched sphere vision is a bit blurry with or with out the tinting. I wouldn't want to wear that very long at all.

It gives me a headache just thinking about looking out of that for any length of time! :nah:

Nice picture. :salute:
