OK here is what I have so far. It is a vintage Legg's Eggs shell, and sphere from a candy toy machine glued to the tip. I think with some help from Brian I'll be able to use this as the master to replica it.

I have some of those L'eggs eggs. My mom used them as Easter decorations and gave me a couple for "old times sake". I never realized they could be the same size as Muffit's muzzle! Cool. :)

That is what was used for the screen used originals.

Truly!? That's awesome! I actually have some sitting out with my Easter decorations. I've gotta go take a closer look!

Edit, forgot to ask a couple questions: What size/type of candy bubble gets put on the end? Does anyone know what the top part of the nose is? Is the bottom jaw of the muzzle part of the L'eggs egg too? Or something else?

I think the jaw and top part is just a thicker casting of the Leggs Egg.

Wow, they really used some odd stuff for building those costumes, didn't they?

Makes the story interesting like the beer bottle cap on the Galactica.

It's hard to see the tip of the nose under the "nose flap" but it seems like it doesn't stick out that much...more like it is half a sphere rather than a whole one. Does that make sense?

Actually it is the same height just nit as filled in under the marble that is touching the tip of the egg. Just an other offering up idea if you're not able to find the other item.

Hi

Great information. I learn so much when I read this forums. Who knew that they used a Leg's container for the muzzle. I know that the next time I see a daggit on screen, I will freeze the frame for a closer look!!!!!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks

Larry
