Starbuck's CORA helmet has found its way

Sometimes screen used costumes/props get split up! Baltar's pants are no longer with his tunic (as a set with one owner)... Centurions have no rifles... and so on. Collectors post up info on orphaned screen used items you own - and maybe its matching garment/prop owner will find you for a Battlestar reunion.

Starbuck's CORA helmet has found its way

Look what showed up today. Oh yeah the CORA is amazing. So many more details to it than I ever imagined. Pictures don't do this justice.

SWEET!!! Glad the helmet has a happy home with you GoldCylon. Couldn't ask for a better place to be safe and sound for many more years.

This also doubles as the Trans Star Security guard helmet.

Congrats on getting another screen-used item! It's in good hands now.

Say, would you mind taking a few more photos so I could add it to the "Props" section of our gallery?

Y'know, in looking at this, and looking at the scenes with Starbuck, it almost appears as if the center piece of the badge has been replaced. The Starbuck pic makes it look like it should be the same color as the badge & helmet, and raised up in a reverse-embossed manner. These new pics make it look like a black symbol painted on to a light-colored central piece. I only mention this, because that's one of the badges I've been looking for more details on for my insignia research. The badge itself looks dead-on. It's just that center piece that looks off to me. Nice find, though!
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.

I had flood lights on me. They are what are used to light of the Cylon.

Just created this screencap of the Trans Stellar guy using the C.O.R.A. helmet...

Kind of cool to see it used a few different times isn't it.

Indeed it is!

As for a little trivia, Starbuck's maroon tunic also had some screentime in the second season episode "Journey to Oasis" of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century":

So it looks like the costume got well split up for being used in both productions...

I was trying to figure out who the Trans guy was and your picture makes it clear.

The Buck re-use is icing on the cake. Your Red Eye sees all - amazing work - as always, Red Eye!!! :salute:
