Planet Comicon Kansas City 2015 - 125 PHOTOs HEAVY!
Here we are... It's that time again for me to post up PHOTOS!!!
Who's an Evil Cylon - ME
PC:KC ala C-K!
Pwn'ed the website... well a screen capture of it anyways...
This year Sunday belonged to the Knights.
Mr. and Mrs. Cylon-Knight went to the con! It was a lot of walking - but a lot of fun for Mrs C-K. Her first con. AND after we got me into my costume - she got to see first hand how a 1:1 chrome plated Cylon Centurion is the bell of the ball - can I get a photo?! (walk two steps) Can I get a photo!? *click* Can I and me and we all get photos!? (No steps taken). "Humans" .... pffffft - lol
Bartle Hall - the largest, column-free convention environment in the world! Home of Planet Comicon Kansas City
*WELCOME*
Tickets - nice, many - fast lines!
And the con! I went on Sunday and it was packed. Saturday must have been a mad house.
Left you can see all the signs they had up to know where you were. They were quite handy when you were on the phone trying to tell another where you were! Great idea.
Right... first thing a great group of costumed fans... BSG Razor, TOS and Comic Books - EXCELSIOR!
A true blue Kansas City Royals Iron Man! LET'S GO ROYALS *clap clap clap*
And a wonderful red Dalek (for the KC Chiefs??? lol )
The KC R2 Builders Club! LOVE IT. (Wish I was in it!)
The silver one opened up all over the place - amazing.
Walked past an epic light saber battle - took a photo.
Great looking Death Star Gunner - and Cobra trooper and Commander.
Oustanding Jawa display and a Smart Car-ish Snow Speeder - heehee
The Snow Speeder had a great control panel display too. So creative!
Here was a boot for The Replica Prop Forum too! Great site - great booth.
A VERY active Gambit. He was really moving and swinging and throwing cards. Great performance.
Hey... I made some super friends.
Amazing Legos.
Heeeey yoooooooooou guuuuuuuuys! Man, I should have bought these Goonie figures. *note to self for next year*
Random booth shot. SO MUCH good stuff at the con to buy
oooooooooooooooh I saw this, took a photo then floated across the floor to see the saaaaaberrrrs mmmmm
Saber Sword of Omens! HOOOOOOOOOO! ~epic~
I pondered buying a saber, but Mrs. Cylon-Knight had a great point - I need to spend that money on my Cylon voice. She is right.
A great costume. Mrs. C-K really liked this one. PHOTO!
Look, Me and The Big Bang Theory's Amy Farrah Fowler.
Red Eye - this photo I took specifically for you.
Another great Dalek - and an awesome battle to the death with another con goer... I photographed the tragic end. haha
Mr. Trooper and Me
And Gorilla Grodd from The Flash
...also Myself and Harley Quinn
More amazing Legos. These are close ups of a massive display peppered with Comic and Sci-Fi fun.
Wow. A life size 1977 Star Wars Stormtrooper toy!!!!
We circled around the convention back near the front and WHA WHA!?! There was a K.I.T.T. somehow we all but walked past at the front. Well I saw him now and floated over to him to take some photos. He was behind a rail... so I couldn't get super close. *rats*
Next to K.I.T.T. was Indiana Jones' motorcycle. It was perfect.
Two bad @$$ guys.
Back near the front and another great costume group was in the Death Star Throne Room.
Whoooo tired yet? Feet hurt? OURS DID at this point.
Mr. and Mrs. C-K went up to the Con entrance and got some lunch. Rested a bit, then a bathroom break... and it was time to go suit up... HUMANS BEWARE
On the way to the restrooms were some wonderful Kansas City displays - and I have a camera and....
Here we are at Cylon Base 001... My wonderful Cylon Rifle hand crafted by my close friend Sean (our own Cylon-At-Arms!) has served me well at Galacticon and Planet Comicon in the past. But with Mrs. C-K being my handler this year I opted to use my Cylon pistol - also masterfully crafted by Sean. Mrs. C-K is still so tender from her rapid fire operations last year I didn't want to weigh her down with my rifle when I can't hold it (stairs, etc.). Plus my pistol hasn't had the chance to blast lowly humans yet. Sean built it well and with LIGHTS. In this photo I'm installing new batteries power cells - advanced Cylon technology and so on and so forth so I can *ZAP* lowly humans.
Welcome to my evil underground parking complex lair. Cylon preparing for war!
Kansas City... now belongs to the Cylon Empire.
Okay... first humans I find, one is un-dead and the other busy dealing with that. No need to waste a pistol *ZAP* on them. They will do themselves in while I wait for the signal it's safe to cross the street. We live in dangerous times! LOL A Cylon can't even walk down the sidewalk... yikes.
Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh
*Required* Cylon-Knight on an escalator photo.
Mrs. Cylon-Knight, my official photographer for today did outstanding work.
*ONE PLEASE.*
I let him live. He was cool.
Fist thing right in the door - WAR with Captain Halo America...?! YEP.
But then we worked it out. *buds*
*ZAP*
Here it is ... Cylon-Knight
#WINNING
Photos photo... Me and new friends.
Now wait...
Better.
Forget him... you wouldn't like Cylons when THEY are angry!
Me and the Hulk's owner. He was cool, no *ZAP*
Another Colonial! TOS BSG whoooo
But... *ZAP*
People or Ponies. My pistol is getting a workout - good thing I had those new batteries power cells.
Not sure what her costume is... but hey...
(Update - Mrs. C-K knew - she is Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon)
And then me and Batman. He had the Batmobile and everything!
Army guys
Bounty Hunter guy
Now this is an interesting pic. This is the second time I've been stopped for a photo by a young fan who's just lost in imagination. The photo is frozen as were we for an awkward amount of time. Take a pic, okay... but he was all "I am a jedi" hummmmm light saber, etc. Which is cool and all but finally I just *ZAPPED* his light saber. (Last time it was a sonic screwdriver in my face for far too long.) Boys with there toys....... *ZAP* *ZAP* ha
Double shot of Groot
I don't know what was going on here. But I think I'm in a girl band now?
Beauty and the Beast... but don't call her beast - she can't help the way she looks... evil curse ya know.
nuBSG Human. *ZAP*
Human zombie - eye falling out... no need to *ZAP*
Got me a Snow Speeder now. w00t
Me, Merc, Odin, and the Mad Hatter. Love it.

Hey... These humans are okay. COOOOBRAAA!!!
So, I'm the new Destro?
Watch out Princess... The Cylon Empire isn't gong to goof up like the Empire... empire.. ah.. ummm.. NEVERMIND *ZAP*
Every year at a con I meet a really great person. This year it was Jano Fett. His costume was perfect and he was great to talk to. Awesome tips and info on his amp and suit. I am going to get my own voice in the works for next year and he had wonderful advice. He did the coolest poses too. Mrs C-K wants me to do more poses. I need to work on it... yes indeed.
Please.... *ZAAAAP* lol
Another evil trooper. Like this guy.
Scratch that. lol
The Cylon's can't find the Galactica... but I found Carmen Sandiego and Waldo - SO THERE.
Force choked - FRACK
Nice Helmet............ *ZAP*
Dr. ME - that's Who. Nah, I'm just dreaming... head in the clouds...
Wolverine - getting Cylon force choked. *CHOKE* then *ZAP*
I'm a Merc now too.
CYLON KOMBAT! FIGHT!!
That's Darth Cylon-Knight, to you. GIVE IN TO YOUR ANGER!!!
Goodbye Leonard... LLAP
WOW - another Colonial! *ZAP*
Look close... OUR LEADER!
*ZAP* ATM *ZAP* *ZAP* *ZAP* *ZAP* *ZAP*
I love it when people take selfies with a Cylon - I can see the camera screen. What a hoot.
Back down the escalator with my human prisoner.
I hit the streets - *ZAP* first - ask questions never.
*ZAP BAT*
Okay Kansas City the long shadow of the Cylon Empire is cast upon this city once more.
Mr. and Mrs. Cylon-Knight have restored chaos and havoc... our work here is done...
...would ya look at that human?! Trying to push my buttons?! *ZAP*
Down to the car - I mean Raider... and... oh dear stairs. AND FOR REAL.
This is me right before I about bought the entire farm.
I had a mis-step on the stairs and hit the wall. From the photo you can see there is damage to come chrome (CRIES).
I've not yet looked to see how bad it is (avoiding it). Got out of the suit, when home and unloaded it super quick.
I STILL have yet to check how bad my tumble was.
BUT no worries this Centurion is still fully functioning - built to last - and take a Selfie.
OMG look at this blurry image taken by a paparazzi!
(Not really... but maybe.)
So that's it my Cylon Brothers. See you next year.
(AND HEAR ME next year... I will have my Voice - WILL!!!!!!!!)

Awesome pics! Sorry we couldn't meet up this year to double-up on the intimidation factor!
I heard that Jango Fett voice, and it sounded great. Would love to hear what you learned from him. I never found a perfect solution for the voice, but it'd be great to have one for next year.

Loved it Cylon-Knight!!! Awesome photos. Kudos to you for enduring all that time in the suit! Not an easy task but every minute is worth it! Btw, how's the chrome? Hopefully the damage wasn't bad!.

Re: Planet Comicon Kansas City 2015 - 125 PHOTOs HEAVY!
I enjoyed the photos very much! *ZAP all humans! I'm sorry to read that you almost took a header down the stairs. I'm having a tough time understanding why the armor is prone to falling down stairs. I don't want to crash first time out. I realize it is tough to see. But that can't be all of it. When I carry stuff down stairs my view is blocked sometimes, so I use the back of my heel and find the edge of the step. Is there something else that contributes to a hazardous step down the stairs?

Re: Planet Comicon Kansas City 2015 - 125 PHOTOs HEAVY!
For your curious Centurions, I happened to look at my battle damage from KC Planet Con tonight...
On the left is the biggest mess up. It's starting to allow the chrome to peal. I'll be coating all the damage with a thin coat of superglue to ensure nothing flakes off - a great tip from the chrome shop. And then, I plan to reverse the armor - spin it 180 round. The damage will rotate to my inner arm and my arm pit will keep it hidden really. I think I'll save re-chroming for another day when there is more to be redone.
@uCylon... sorry for the slow reply!
For me... I couldn't see ANYTHING (really) like visibility/line of site - very narrow stair case. It was very dim/dark/poor lighting. And that is a problem as what light there is often bounces off your chest plate and up into the helmet - flooding the inside with a lens flair basically making seeing out in dim stair case even worse! Add to that, wearing hockey gloves that have no feeling and poor motion (to grip). I think my stumble was the result of over correcting more than anything... Unsure footing, try to fix it too quick, panic... yikes! Next time I think I'll break character and just take off/prop up the helmet so I don't have to even think about full on FALLING. That would S U C K

Use chrome tape on the damaged areas. It is the best fix without rechroming.
