Thanks again Al.
Anyone notice this. Insert of the original tags with a QR Code type of label, and then scanned by the Cylon. Also USA Cable Network? QMX replica is now screen used.

OK the dog tags I noticed have a QR Code like matrix to the back side. The formation of the black and white lines. These codes are used for mobile devices like a cell phone. Scan the code, and it will launch a web site that in many cases give more details about the item you are looking at. They serve many purposes besides web pages.
Scan this code and will launch our web page.

QMX is a company that makes the licensed 2003 dog tags.

This photo below is the back side of the QMX engraved tag. Yes these are the same as I see on screen.

So now that I know I guess the irony you speak of is that the reproduction artisan tags have become screen used....is that it?

There have been rumors bounced about that if it brings in decent ratings when broadcast AND does well in BD/DVD sales when released, that it may be considered for future production. Absolutely unsubstantiated and without source reference, but there is a small glimmer of remote hope.

Add to the fact that everyone involved in the production is 100% out of contract now, so if it is brought back some of the players might not be available anymore.

I haven't heard, but they always showed the BSG on SyFy over in the UK before they showed it in the US.
