Finally got a chance to see this over the weekend and loved it! I was getting quite irritated by the lens flairs (damn you J.J. Abrams!!!), but aside from that, I even found NuAdama to be serviceable as a character, even though I would have preferred Nico Cortez from Razor to reprise that role.

Maybe I've been on BSG withdrawal for too long, but I damn near loved every minute of this thing. It seems that the rumors about the CG effects not being up to snuff were quite erroneous.

I agree with 137th. The effects were a bit distracting but I saw it a bit cost cutting to hide lower quality CG edits. Blur over it problem solved.
The original actor was per casting was now to old to fill the boots this go around.
The over all story so far is out standing. Plenty of room if promise of good continuing story lines. Now keep high hit marks on YouTube and buy the BluRay or DVD and cut even more overhead on the CG we might have an other BSG series.
