Oh my, that show will never happen. I will be shocked if SyFy is still on the air in 2015.

Hi

It looks like a decision on the series future will be made in the next month (if you can believe Mark Stern)!!!!

MAn it is ever going to air, or just be put on the shelf. I think if it was a great show or movie it would be pushed to air ASAP, or if a flop just drag it out to see if it cam be tweaked out to try and save it.

Im still pissed they pulled Caprica. It was really going somewhere when they did. :cylongold:

^ AMEN, goldcylon1! You said it. They really did Caprica wrong.
I hope they get B&C going... They have REALLY lost steam waiting so long. "The buzz" that nuBSG/Caprica had is all but gone...

Y'know, I'm starting to think that they should have held on to the set pieces instead of this green-screen "virtual set" thing. Nu-V did it and it looked...okay...but with a sickly-greenish pawl over everything, like nobody ever heard of color-correction or something. It might have even been cheaper just to rebuild new sets. The fact that they're commenting about how much post will be required for every episode...methinks they bit off more than they could chew with that one, sacrificing the series in general.

Not good for the show's future prospects, I'm afraid... :ugh:

137th you have a good point, but with out a set plan on what to do for a spin off they had no choice. They couldn't afford a endless rental bill each when scanning it, and trashing had a set end, and if at a later date like current a sells pitch is made, make the demo, and if picked up then rebuild the set to specs over the green screen.

Spot on 137th Gebirg.

Nu-V did have a "not EXACTLY" right feel a few times... but rare. I think the biggest draw back is they can't interact with the background. Like if they are in a ship and it was hit, the wall couldn't explode or something like that. Its just a static image... couldn't take a panel off and fix stuff in it, etc., etc.

New article from Bear McCreary:

Syfy Preps 'Blood & Chrome' For Release

No details on specifically "when", but the fact that they're still investing in the project by paying him to compose and perform a new original score is promising. My gut feeling is a release of either this coming fall or early 2013.

Now I don't recall where I read this, but it was less than 1 week ago, and a air date was going to be selected in the next 6 weeks, and also the venu. SyFy Channel, or web release. The DVD, Blu-Ray following the airing of the event the next day.
