Sweet! I'm not sure what print specs are used by those high tech printer guys. I will grovel my buddy and see what he may be able too do.
No promises, as he totally relies on his boss letting him run the printers too keep them display ready (he sells the printers and it isint a print shop per se)

:D

hey. he will do a poster or maybe two, just waiting on a file too print from. just send whatever format has the most detail and we will see what can be done.
He even said it could be printed on banner stuff not just paper

OK so the news i have it not bad. Phil can print from whatever format we have onto vinyl banner material(hopefully).
At the moment the largest he can print is 1300mm (1.3 meters.. or.. um.. several feet) which is pretty large. A 1300mm square banner will look fairly imposing and shouldnt be too difficult too ship stateside if he is kind enough too print a couple of them (which he usually is)

so.. now all we need is a copy of them files please and ill get something done asap :byyourcommand:

GREAT NEWS Craigorski!!! Thank you!!!

:byyourcommand:
I'll work on the files.

-1300mm x 1300mm is the finished size (to verify)
-RGB or CMYK color space?
-How much bleed for something so large?
(I went to college for and have worked in the printing industry for all my adult life... I'll understand any "high tech" :) specs you can pass along, the more the better to supply the best possibe art. Just let me know.)

I know nothing of the print industry so the tech terms mean nada!
Phil just said send whatever you have and he will print it :)

i guess the better quality the picture then the better quailty the print.
The deathstar hallway he printed was really detailed and high quality and looked great from what i saw of it.

You go with what you reckon will be best and i will pass it on.
he actually works at the place that sells the printers, thats why he gets too use them, display models need too run when required ;)
he said the format dosent matter.

I'm on holiday for a couple weeks (finally) so send through whatever whenever and we will get this thing rolling

Love the banner! I'm looking forward to some big advancements on the overall classic Battlestar front in the near future. I recently got a look at some of the page ideas that would link to this site and blackstarsquadron.com and it looked pretty cool!

I also hope to see this banner flying high at next years Galacticon!
