Screen used stunt suit

Post by GoldCylon » Sat Jan 21, 2006 9:10 pm

I bought a screen used stunt suit from the TV show Robcop a few months back. Since it was a stunt suit it has had its run around the block. Over all it isn't in bad shape, mostly a little bit of clean up, and a total repaint. A fellow collector is helping me out with the restore. Take a look at some of the before pic's, the after will be posted, well after it has been finished.

Update on suit. I talked with Bruce Hansing about the suit. He worked on the movie, and now owns the original mold to the screen used suit. He said the suit I own is a suit that was made to promo the first Robocop movie. About seven of these suits were made to promote the movie by making the rounds in these suits by going to movie theaters across the country. He said the suits are missing some minor details, but over all are great suits.

Nevermind, found em!

All!!!

One of my dreams is a lifesize Robocop for my home cinema. I'm not a costume junky. I'm 2+ meters tall anyway.

But cash is rare these days...

So far the Bruce suits I've seen look bad. The suit from part two looked a lot better of course due to the bigger budget. You parts look very good!

2 years of hard work!

I'm just hoping you have molds made? There is a market for Robocop suits, especially a good looking one. People still ask for them on RA, bur Bruce is hardly to be reached these days.

Greets,

Manfred

P.S. Do you use MSN? Might be less PM traffic.
Where are you staged ayway? Britain? My addy is sir-round@xs4all.nl
