Interactive Cylon painting at Maker Faire Detroit

Saw this at Maker Faire Detroit this weekend. It's a Cylon with a Larson scanner controlled by an arduino with a small camera. It scans until it detects someone in front of the painting. Then it lights one LED as you pass as if it were following you.

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, he did not have it in scan and follow mode due to the outdoor lighting. A video would have just shown your garden variety Larson scanner activity.
