Re: Bif Bang Pow! launches Classic Battlestar Galactica Line
I can't find one part that is really good. I know there is a lot to be said for artistic license and fabricating limitations but this is not the 70s anymore!
I assume the wrist armor is short way because on real Cylons the glove does cover the gauntlet a lot and the 'ribs' are supposed to be metal and not fabric like the costume is.
I agree with Skull that the collar is misinterpreted; however I assume they had more than one picture to look at.
One thing I agree with though is that most 'armored' costumes look better with a cod piece...if that is what the ribbed triangle thing is.

Concur. Everything seems to be a comic book stylized release latelyHand-Schaub wrote:I can't find one part that is really good. I know there is a lot to be said for artistic license and fabricating limitations but this is not the 70s anymore!

Remember: It's just a prototype.
Perhaps they'll refurbish it a bit prior to release...

Thanks for sharing the link!
Interesting to know there'll be a Tucana/Android Sister figure...
I'm curious what other Aliens they plan to add.

A new photo has surfaced for the upcoming Cylon Centurion figure:
I must admit, it INDEED looks odd!

It is sort of a GI-JOE-ish / cartoon spin. I like it okay, not 1:1 for sure... but you can tell at a glance it's classic Cylon - not a RDM "classic" wanna-be. At least they are sticking to TOS BSG! I'll buy one if they are not crazy @$$ expensive.

His neck is too long... or the shoulders are too low, hard to express. I think that's the biggest "huh" issue with him - other than the forearm armors and hands being all nutty.

New BSG figures (Commander Adama, Lucifer & Command Centurion) have been announced at the New York Toy Fair 2012.
Check them out in our gallery:

They still look odd to me...

Bad artist sums it to be making this release. The scaling is off.
