GAS! Not from eating at Taco bell :)
Gas prices... RANT!
I was driving tonight to drop off my mom at an appointment. We passed a gas station - I noted to her: "Wow, gas is $2.99." thinking I should fill up soon before it goes over $3.
I dropped my mom off and passed the same gas station not 10 minutes later... THE PRICE WENT UP TO $3.12!!! Looks like I'll be paying more in the morning for it. Going to get more snow and such tomorrow afternoon, I need to fill up before winter comes back to my town.

No not in CA - right in the heartland in KS/MO... we've been around $2.8X for some time... this spike up to $3.XX is just gross!

Strange thing is oil went down today, but I do agree we will hit the $5.00 per gallon price by summer again.

What I do not get is that here in Alberta, we are one of the world's largest oil and gas producers and we are paying $1.07 a litre (about $4.28 a gallon) right now. One word -- taxes!!! It will definately be over $5 by summer.

Well they predicted it will hit $5 by summer, so Im sure the oil companies are frothing at the mouth to make that happen. Looked this morning and Diesel is $4 a gallon, at this rate it will be at 5 by easter.
