Very interesting. I think I have seen a few of these before, but not the entire collection.

Actually, I have a few more and will be getting them up shortly. Glad you guys like them.

Also.....The WARSTAR in the above sheet is incorrect. That is actually the "SUPER BASESTAR" from the Hatch: Second Coming Movie Trailer. I didn't have a good image of the correct one from TOS at the time I made it up. Below is the correct Cylon Warstar from TOS as seen in the Colonial Warbook. Have added the WARSTAR it to the above file of Warships.

Just posted my latest creation.... a chart of all the types of Cylon ships from the TOS that I could find information on sized to scale plus a comparison to some of the better known Colonial Naval Warship types.

It is the last thumbnail in the first post at the top of the page.

Enjoy.

The Warstar or Super Basestar was also featured in David Kerin's fan-edited special edition of "Saga of a Star World"...

Here's a screen-cap of it:

KILLER PIC! Tks for posting it Red Eye. Am always on the lookout for good ship and fighter photos for the collection.

Is Kerin's version of "Saga of a Starworld" online anywhere?

You can download it here, once you've registered: http://fanedit.org/311/

I can also upload it on some download platform, if you like... then all our forum members would be able to see the brilliant work David has done...

I almost forgot, the Warstar/Super Basestar was also featured in the second issue of the BSG-comics published by Realm Press...

Here it is:

What a pity that they've just used the standard Basestar during the course of the series.

I know, creating new special effects or miniatures where a costly undertaking back in 1978-'79...

Imagine what they might have done with the help of CGI... *dream*

Agree, really wish they would have used more of a variety of ships and fighters in the show.

I even wish they just had put out a more detailed SOURCEBOOK like all the manuals STAR WARS has out on every conveviable subject.
I think most of the stuff out there was mostly put out by fans.

Agreed, but I don't think that something like that will show up in the near future...

Unfortunately, most publishers are now concentrating on the reimagined series instead of the good old original...

But who knows what will happen if Larson's new Galactica will be launched?

Maybe that provides the opportunity for the original series to come out at the woodwork again...
