I recently decided after seeing a few awesome bridge builds I would make my own study model. This is a on going project that has spanned more than a few years. With the purchased I have enough to build 3 stations for Con photo ops of the original style of the Galactica Bridge. I also am seriously thinking about building a larger section if not the complete bridge for a few reasons. First in all large projects building a study model helps a lot to learn the ups, and down of building a full scale project. So building a 1/29th scale model ins the current task. Attached are a few varies stages of the build. A minor adjustment is visible in a few areas, and most notable to me is the upper floor section needed to be lowered to be correct scale. I have 10 man hours into this so far. :cylon: :cylon: :cylon: :cylongold: :cylon: :cylon: :cylon:

I want to know where the studio got a giant yogurt cup to support the main viewer deck? I think in early script drafts Adama was going to say, "Positive graham cracker box, now!"

All joking aside, awesome work!

Nice catch on the cups, but these are cottage cheese w/pineapple cups 16 oz size. :cylongold:
Now a bit of a change up. The cups were the wrong height so I had to make some adjustments to the next section, and the rotation platform, and the stairs down.

Still working on this project, but moved onto a LARGER version. I almost doubled the size, and I thought it would be easier. Wrong this is a lot slower, and the cost for the larger off the shelf parts cost has climbed up also. I am still real happy with the results.
