LOL - no. It's a sitting duck. Just a bunch of antennas so they can call for help.GoldCylon wrote:Does the mover have a weapon on it?

Thanks, Mike. You moved your movers? Is he doing a group photo shot?LastBattlestar wrote:Well, it's a start.... Knowing your builds Doug, this is going to be a sweet model!

I got the next little section done yesterday but no pics yet. Some of the tiny parts on this thing are insane. I don't know how TJ cast them.

Re: Studio Scale Colonial Movers
Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Dale, no worries. I'd be surprised if this one is done in less than a year from now. I'm almost ready to start painting. I need to put the tiny ladders on the center module and then the main body is completely done. There's a couple of parts I'm waiting on for the removable hatches on the mounting points (also center module) but as these are removable I can start the painting without them.
For now, I'll just be painting the main body. The removable cargo containers will have to wait until I can get a compressor for my airbrush. Those will have custom colors so I can't use rattle cans. The main body base color is just white so I don't need the airbrush for that.

I just noticed that you have been hanging at the corner burger joint, and picked up a few extra flexible straws.

LOL - you would NOT believe how long it takes to crease all those little folds into the straws to get them to bend like that.
