My Brother SPORAK in grave condition, please pray for him
Hello fellow centurions, Some of you might know my big brother, Bill Fink, known on some forums as Sporak… big Trek fan and a prop guy. On Thursday night he was in a terrible car accident (slippery ice) and is truly in grave condition. He is literally fighting for his life as I'm typing. I won't go into details now but I know that any prayers for him and his family would help and be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Steve
Thanks.
Steve

Thank you. Brief update: Bill is still in a coma but his vitals have slightly improved.

Yea, not out of the woods, but the discussion has leaned more in the direction of "when" he wakes up, rather than "if"…

Ok… overnight it's gotten very bad again. The quote I heard from the doctor was "if he leaves the hospital alive it will be a miracle".

Rest in Peace, my big brother Bill… William Douglas Fink. He passed on about a half hour ago. He was 52.
Bill, you were my earliest creative inspiration, who showed me that I could make anything I wanted, and with everyday household materials, such as cardboard, masking tape and staples. In the late 70's we made our own custom Star Wars and Star Trek toys, because they either didn't make it at all, or they made very poor versions of the thing. We made super 8 movies, lots of them; and I even went into makeup effects, professionally, because of his inspiration. Originally he wanted to be the makeup guy… I could go on, and eventually will. I just wanted it to be known.

So sorry to hear about your big brother.
There is nothing I can say will take away the loss you and your family and friend are going through.
But do know you & yours are in our thoughts and prayers.
