Hi from Perth Western Australia!
Hi everyone,
My name is Dave and I am a costumer from Perth WA
My previous builds are full size Dr Who Dalek (undergoing rebuild) and full scratch built Ghostbuster gear, which I have been rocking for 8 years now to all sorts of conventions etc.
I am also way into old cars, and have a 1959 Cadillac sedan, and an Australian 1967 Ford Fairlane in black & white police car guise, complete with Federal Signal Aerodynic lightbar
I just tried my hand at a card build helmet, but will grab a styrene kit, and probably then do the rest myself
Look forward to being part of the forum!
thanks
Dave

Welcome aboard and good luck with your current Centurion build.
Would be great to see some photos of your previous builds, too.

Welcome, welcome!
Glad you joined up, Dave.
Looking forward to seeing your Centurion take shape. And yes, as Red Eye said, please share some of your other projects if you have photos to post. We'd love to see them.

Welcome on board. The car collection sounds cool, but can I ask what is the difference between a Ford Fairlane, and a Australian Ford Fairlane. Built in Australian?

thanks everyone, glad to be aboard
Tha Aussie Fairlane used the back end of the US 2 door Fairlane, but forward of that is shared with our model Falcon, then a different grill. I have had this for 20 years now
And a pic of my scratch built Proton Pack

Nice car, I used to import police uniforms badges patches etc etc and all I was missing was a decent patrol car from my collection.Davros wrote:thanks everyone, glad to be aboard

Thanks Soda,
I stripped the Fairlane back to bare metal in my parents backyard when I was 18, originally a metallic purple. Gave it a full rebuild and then it was my daily driver in the police cruiser paint scheme for years
here is it and my Cadillac

oooh very nice, like the Caddy too. Great work there, I had missed out on a Valiant charger when I was 20, it was in show room condition but couldn't get the insurance cover for it as it was going to be my first car.
It was almost the same one as my grandmothers but she had a hemi v8 in orange with black stripes.

WELCOME --- I am happy to see more people are joining this wonderful website.
I took my time and read some post before I decided to join too.
My Cylon Costume was order from Kropserkel.
I did check them out very carefully and I got most of the info from this website.
