Hello all sci-fi friends on ByYourCommand.net I am happy to be taking part in this forum. For quite a while I have been on the search for sourcing Cylon armour which seems to be a daunting process and i'll be honest with you, I could'nt be stuffed with doing the Chroming. :frak:
I am also considering a TK suit for 501st membership. I love the old klankers and I hope I can get away with it being a 5foot10 guy.
I hope to learn much more about costume building and sourcing parts from this forum.
I am looking forward to hearing from you guys especially Klankers who have participated with the 501st.

Welcome. A lot of us here do double duty as 501st costumers and Cylon costumes. Take a good look around as I'm sure you will find much of what you are looking for.

Thanks Hand Schaub for my kind introduction. I still would love seeing Cylons infiltrating and galavanting around with 501st, sure its a different franchise but they are really not that different for the fans.

Thanks for the reassurance cylon-knight I thought it was fanciful being a cylon at 5 foot 10, but what matters most is that anyone can be included and its this inclusivity that is the communal glue of costumers.

Yeah there's something about the crazy eye and all that chrome that makes people go crazy for a picture with you! I often quote "I am rapidly being surrounded".... Thank god for my wranglers that beat them off with a stick! Next big gig is Supanova in Brisbane next month.
