Noob from Miami
Hi everyone!
Big BSG fan, having watched the originals as a kid, and reliving it with the reboot. I have armor from a couple of other childhood adventures and thought, well why not BSG? Looking to have my Centurion ready for Dragon*Con 2013......
About me: Live in Miami, I participate in various cosplay groups, and am passionate about most things Sci-Fi. What I truly love is the tech in the shows.... Ships, bots, etc.....
I try to get to every con in the area, and some outside the area as well! Always willing to travel to meet people whom "get it"!!!
Looking forward to participating in the group!

Welcome Maritza. Lets see some of your other work. Do you have a Cylon suit kit already or a ready to wear suit? When is Dragon Con?

Here's a pic of my first troop in armor. The toilet seat is a little too big for me. It kept shifting and throwing my bucket out of alignment. Also, let's just say, walking up a short flight of steps to a low stage was downright treacherous! LOL...
I also have to figure out a way to make myself look a wee bit taller. If I heard "tiny Cylon" one more time! LOLOLOLOLOL. It's worse than when I wear my snowtrooper!!!

To look taller I have use a product like this, I have seen heights from 1-3 inches (2.5-6cm). The pic is only a example.scifichick wrote:Here's a pic of my first troop in armor. It would go inside your boot.

You can find the 6cm (2.4in) at this link on ebay
