Hello,

Just wanted to show my commissioned prop molded by cool prop guy in Edmonton AB.

Just wondering what kind of color paint scheme I should use? Chrome?

Please let me know what you think?

Thanks,

Thodin

WOW! Looks amazing.

I don't know if a mirror chrome, like 1978 Centurion would look as good on the new RDM style Centurion. Maybe a brushed aluminum or the like. Perhaps nickle? They were not as reflective.

Can't wait to see more photos of it - will it have eye lights?

Looks great, and lucky for you the finish is more of a dull looking chromed giving you the opportunity to save some big bucks over the original high luster finish of the 78 Cylons. Alclad 2 paint was a early entry into the now popular do it yourself chrome finish. Using a high gloss black shaker can spray paint is how it acquires its reflective properties. The bottles are cheap for the results to get. Practice on scrap pieces, and once you like your finished move over to your helmet. http://alclad2.com/
Good luck, and congrats. :cylongold:
