Very cool, can't wait to see what they have done. I'll pick one Cylon helmet up to compare side by side to the original.

Great news there, we certainly need more choice and competition regarding Cylon costumes and Armour.

Well the year is half gone.

I hope this hasn't slid back off schedule.

Fingers crossed it happens; even if it takes a while.

It would be nice if it included a good 'eye' as well.

if it comes with electronics chances are that it becomes steep in pricing.

we can only hope anyway at this point.

I just got back from SDCC and actually saw both helmets. They are from a company called EFX. They said both helmets would be available by the end of the year.

Harry, what can you tell us about the cylon?

Was it styrene or something else?

Did it come with any electronics?

WOW... I'm sure they will be great reproductions. It will be interesting to see the side-by-side to your screen Cylon, GoldCylon.

Glad they are 1:1 and not smaller scale, those are okay, but 1:1 is so much better!

Size is 1/1, but as for material? I couldn't hold it as it was locked in a showcase. I even had a hard time asking the workers there for any info on it. I didn't see any electronics for it. Sorry. It was a MAD HOUSE there and I was in my cylon suit.

Here are some picts from Comic Con.

I saw the photos from your Comic-Con posting...
  • Zooming in on it I see:
-The helmet has the holes in the "eye brows."
-Hard to tell if there are any eye electronics, I don't see anything, or any red lens/tint anywere.
-Does it look like to anyone else - that the "mouth grill" has blue lights inbetween the bars? Perhaps it is a reflection of a light in/around the display? Or maybe it is a reflection of a blue shirt of someone nearby and the camera flash?
