Specter & Vulpa on Display

Post by Red Eye » Tue Aug 19, 2014 6:22 am

Recently, I've stumbled upon a video on YouTube documenting a Star Trek convention in the mid 1990's.

Nothing interesting you say? Well then take a look at the screencap I've taken of two familiar faces who were part of Roger Sides' display back then:

Sorry for the bad image quality but I bet some of you will appreciate to see these two guys together again!

If you watch closely, you'll notice that the chestplate of Vulpa is rather dull compared to the rest of the armor, which matches the chestplate of the costume on display at the 15 Yahren Reunion in 1993:

Thanks.

Here's a link to the video:

Vulpa and Specter making their appearance at 1:48, but only lasting a few seconds... sorry microns.

The night before Vulpa was to go on display (so the legend says) Rodger took a screen used chromed silver chest piece, and spray painted it cooper shaker can of paint. A quick fix the was bad, and bad in my opinion.
