Looks like they found a perfect way to simulate the bulb effect of the originals (if not using them already).

Looks like eFX's Centurion helmet is still in development:

Just a guess at the price of $700 plus.

Here's one more of the Centurion helmet:

It still looks a bit dull to me, but I guess they'll change it to a mirroring chrome finish when the actual production takes place.

I also hope they'll change the mouthpiece color from black to a suitable gunmetal...

I 100% that the finish and colors definitely need improvement, but I really like how they made the center join appear seamless. You can sort of make out a raised area on the top fin area, but it's quite a smooth transition and looks rather nice. They seem to be almost there with it.
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.

They did a 3D scan of a screen used helmet, and looks like they cleaned it up a bit, but took away the sharp edge,

I wonder if it's wearable? Probably not.

It has been in the works so long I doubt the release is going to happen now. I think they are a bit gun shy after the low sells on the Viper helmet. Poor timing to release such a high dollar item in this economy.

I don't really like it anyway. The mohawk is too wide for my liking, mouth too squared-off, and I don't like things "idealized" so much.

I won't knock it to much on what it looks like since efx is known for 3D scanning screen used props that they release.

I hear ya. :byyourcommand: Perhaps they should have contacted someone like yourself with better examples of an original head to scan
