I didn't buy a helmet, but some of the other items they sell. I have no idea if what they sell came from a screen used helmet or not, but the quality of their work is very well done.

I have it, as well as other Blackstar members.
Great kit, and you can choose Galactica birdie or Pegasus horsey.
It's heavy!!!!!

Hey guys Photobucket has blocked all external links. The photos as still present on the Photobucket page, but all images need to be posted as link to the Photobucket page over inserting the image.

I was hoping to get a helmet with the Pegasus horsey, is there any way to get a hold of one at all?.

Looks GREAT!
Can't wait to see it painted up and on a helmet. Very cool.

Hey all... rather than clutter the forum with a new thread with the same title, I would like an opinion on this Viper helmet kit that I'm seriously considering. It's the only one that I've ever seen that is remotely In my price range (after saving up!) and would love to get an impartial opinion before biting.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Battlestar-G ... 4902.l9144

I'd love an opinion as soon as possible, as I'm just about to enter a window where I can spare the cash, but that window won't last long. As far as I can tell the helmet is fibreglass. The auction in the link has finished, but the seller says that as he makes them himself he can re list one if I want one.

Many, many thanks in advance.

I have not followed a Viper helmet kit prices in a while. A US eBay seller that just not seem to be active anymore but I was told they are still selling is 3DFX in the Los Angles area. They used to but unknown if they have a web page anymore. They have great quality and accurate builds. Try searching them down and get a price quote from them if they still have the Viper helmet. Good luck

Does the one in that ebay link in my post above look any good to you? I think it looks good, but I'd like a more informed opinion.... if I need to avoid the one I posted, I need to know fairly quickly. So if there's anyone who can have a look at the auction I posted and weigh in with a 'looks ok' or 'inaccurate crap' I would really appreciate it.

I have not seen this helmet in person so I won't comment of buy or not to buy. Looking at most likely the best casting and the best images of this kit is hard to judge the quality.
