David Stipes took the photos, and Jena Holman did the art work.

Well you stole or at least posted my idea. I have detailed photos of the build, but I am trying to get the original plans to help the build out a bit. I have already started working on in in my head on what to do to make it portable and still have the tank tracks, but not a working version. A metal frame on 4 large air rubber tires that the tank will sit on, just above the ground so it has the look like it is sitting on the ground, not floating up on a plat form. Just shaking the tree again next week to try get the plans.
Also when I see this I think of Cylon-Knight.

Would have been fun to have seen the tank in some of the episodes.

But what episode would be the most suitable? "The Young Lords" or "Living Legend" perhaps...

I vote for "The Young Lords"
They could have used it to transport everyone to the river. Or have them parked at the base/fort.

Also, It could have been used in the Saga of Star World - when everyone is running out of the Casino. The tanks could be there flanking the Centurions on foot it is obvious the Cylons were there for some time in force to set such a trap.

Nice thinking...

Or how about "The Night the Cylons landed"?

Shirley: "Need a lift?"

Andromus: "No, thank you. We have our own means of transportation."

YES! It would make since for a Raider to have some smaller transportation mode... like having a bicycle on the back of your car. Especially the AB Raider - big old ship! Probably much farther range and would not be near a Basestar if something went wrong.

Yeah Carillon would have been a great place for the Cylons to have some type of ground attack craft. I am sure the thought or idea had been tossed around, and maybe even concept are, but the show was just a budget buster all the way around, and if they saved 20K some by not making that craft a bigger smile from the executives.
