Return of the BOG Centurion

Post by Red Eye » Sat May 03, 2014 6:01 pm

One of the animatronic Centurions used previously on the BOG ride has been unearthed from storage and is put on display at the current NBC Universal Experience:

He's in desparate need of a new chrome finish / restoration if you ask me... but it's nice to see one of them again.

Amazing photos! So good to see he's lived on past BOG.
You can't keep a good Centurion down!

It makes me wonder if they have the BOG Imperious Leader locked up somewhere.

I still prefer the original but it would be good to know that his counterpart has survived the last few decades...

I guess they are. They even have the vinyl stripes attached at the cuffs.

It was pulled out of storage about 6 months ago. They cleaned it up a bit but all if the inside hardware was removed. Great photos btw.

I thought I posted the photo of the Cylon face down on a pallet about 4 months ago. One thing I can tell is those gloves are production made from 78 or 79. I am not sure if they are screen used because they look pretty clean.
