Alien: The Nostromo Project

Post by GoldCylon » Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:01 pm

This is a restoration project of one of the largest models I have seen before. Glad it was saved.

I still can't get YouTube inserts to work so I used the URL.

That should work, but I can't see at work! I'll see about altering the YouTube code so maybe it will work better for everyone/be more clear.

I think it was up for sale on Profiles in History a while back or Prop Store of London. It was a great restoration project video presentation.

I hope they got the dead animal smell out of it! HA!
I can't believe that something like that literally just wound up outside "in-the-back-yard" as it were. WOW

Supposedly another great ship ended it's life sadly. The USS Cygnus 'Black Hole' was rumoured to have been crated-up and ended up in a back lot all rainsoaked etc. Then one day a forklift truck drove into it and smashed it to pieces.... so the legend goes anyway... really sad how these things end up.
