Post by groupleaderzeta » Wed May 14, 2014 2:49 am

I thought I would post my latest commission work. I fellow co-worker asked me to make him a copy of Pre Vizsla's phase 2 helmet from season 5 of the animated series (Star Wars, The clone wars.

Reference pics..

That's some fantastic work. can you give a little info on what material's used and how you painted and weathered It.

I've seen some preview pics C-K sent me. *Sneaky Cylon*

Nevertheless, your build came out great. I really like the weathering you did. Great job!

** some pics are huge**

The helm started as a pepakura build, then fiberglassed. The paint is spray cans, lower half, metallic aluminium. Upper half, matte dark gray. The crest is bronze. The stencil for the crest was made by Cylon-Knight (thanks a bunch). As to weathering, just a wash with black spray can and wiped with a paper towel with acetone. And YES there is a dent in the forehead

sean,
At the present time I am working on moving. So no new projects will be started. But I do have plans to make a full mandalorian for myself.
