Hey Guys,

Here is my Moebius Models Classic Battlestar Galactica. I drilled out the portholes with a pin vise, and threaded the smallest Fiber Optic I could find. I wanted my build to look like the actual studio miniature so I lit my model to scale using warm white LEDs, diffused. I also painted the model several shades of grey and weathered it to scale.

Verrrrrrry nice!

You said you got the smallest fiber you could. What size fiber do you think would be correct for a studio scale Battlestar? I've been trying to figure that out for my build.

I wanted to capture the look of the actual miniature as seen back in 1978. Scale Lighting, with diffused warm white LEDS, Correct color and LIGHT weathering Helped...
