What is the yellow arched piece.

It's an disinclined boomerang...get it...it doesn't want to be used.

I was thinking some type of Land of the Giants rejected Viper helmet piece myself.

Looks like a nose cone vent plug - or something? To cap off the "nose" of a Viper when it is parked?

You are close, but then when I toss a hand grenade at you that might be just close enough also even thou I missed the target for a direct hit. Others words you are warm.
