I've noticed a lack of.. hardware for a lot of cylons. They're robots and the underlaying hardware (scifi or not) interests me, I am contemplating working on a system spec for them. Covering things like basic wiring diagrams, part placement, internal hardware and so on.

How about doing a Vulpa Six helmet?

I am seriously thinking of making a prototype termination cylon. Detailing and colors are undecided. helm will be wearable.
Oddly it is to use up some of the strange parts I have laying around.

Shown detailing differences are
"left pic", longer grill, larger painted side panels. "right pic", short grill, recessed side panels, and chin is a bit shorter

Looks like a crossover version of an IL-Series Cylon and a new series Centurion.

I love it!

prototype model version 1. there are problems with the model that was discovered during assembly of the prototype.

Size seems good and overall looks good.

Okay tin heads,
The concept helm is in the process of fiberglass. Now I need to think of details. I would like your ideas and opinions on the helm.

1. What I have thought about was have the eyes similar to IL (dual, opposite directions).
2. In the above posted right pic, (short mouth grill), you see the black sail panels, I thought about using a smoke tinted cover and put rope lights similar to the IL.
3. In the space just above the mouth grill, add a light or sequence of lights that would light up as the concept speaks, again similar to IL. another example would be first season of knight rider.

Any more ideas, critique?

GZ
