Here is another modeling project of mine. A love of mine, actually. It is a scratchbuild of Bessie, the Road Paver from Pixar's CARS.
I am working on the electronics, i.e. nighlights, furnace effect and motors. It is a long and complicated labor of love. You can read about it here.

My latest breakthrough is learning enough about 555 timers to achieve a succesful test of the furnace effect.

It has been a while since I looked over at this build, but looks like it is coming along great. Fantastic work, great details, and a good imagination on found items, and made items. A very cool build.

And I thought to myself you were referring to the the car of the third Doctor Who, Jon Pertwee:

LMAO! Yes, Bessie from England! In doing my research on the Road Paver, I did run across this information! I catch Dr. Who from time to time, when schedule permits!Red Eye wrote:And I thought to myself you were referring to the the car of the third Doctor Who, Jon Pertwee:
Although it is not exactly a roving eye, I was really proud of the result with my furnace effect video. Now to just transfer it over to the model!
