LastBattlestar's 1/16 Aliens APC

Hi guys, yep, another side project away from the ongoing Galactica build! I've always been a massive Aliens/s fan and admired the realistic hardware and vehicles from those movies. But one vehicle I just HAD to have was the APC from Aliens- the toughest, meanest, coolest troop carrier ever seen on the screen. Again, it was supposed to be a quick build, but you know how it goes...
I hope you like it. I'm tickled pink with how it has turned out.

I love Aliens, and the equipment used, an I agree the baddest troop carrier ever. The build is outstanding. Question is this SS or was the SS larger?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind comments. Not studio scale I'm afraid. That would be nice, but the R/C model is quite a bit larger. My friend 'Raytheon' in England has built a number of APCs and was able to supply me with castings of the tricky parts like gun turrets and rails, so I drew up my own blueprints to the same scale using all the reference I could find. It certainly wasn't an easy build, not by a long shot. I definitely underestimated this subject. It's a deceptively trick shape with lots of intersecting angles.
But it looks so cool that I just HAD to build it!

That was great, and loved the opening credit work also. A awesome video, and a awesome APC. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the work on the Galactica.

WOW - love the vid LastBattlestar. The Galactica is so cool next to the APC... it could fall over and squish it, it looked like!
