LastBattlestar's B wing variant project

Post by LastBattlestar » Fri Feb 11, 2011 11:33 pm

Hi guys! As my studio scale Galactica build has been progressing for nearly 12 years, I occasionally veer off into other side projects to save my sanity. They usually begin as a quick build which invariably turns into a year or two. ;) Considering the glacial pace of a 6 foot G build, these projects do indeed seem fast to me!

This was a joy to build and is probably the best build I've done to date. It also marked my first foray into airbrushed paint and weathering, so it is a model I'm really proud of. I hope you like it.

OH MY!
The lights on the wings - AND - in with the figure, very very very cool. I love all the detail, the heat/burn effect on the gun tips - perfect!

Thanks guys! I've just worked out that you need to be registered to see the in-progress pics hosted on the site. Sorry about that, but I highly recommend that you join up and check out the pics of my model bench hell!
