Very interesting how you have built this so far. Can't wait to see how the screws disappear, unless that are just there to hold things together for now, and are unscrewed later on.

Cool site! Thanks for the link...
How heavy is a finished helmet? Fiberglass seems like it would add a lot of weight to a helmet.

It has some weight to it, but not too bad. I'm working on a cushion system for the inside-it can be used with any helmet. I designed some about 10 years ago for my Boba Fett bucket, and will use similar materials and technique on these. Once done, I'll post a DIY tutorial for all.Cylon-Knight wrote:Cool site! That's a great pic of you and Apollo!RETRO1 wrote:Hi All
A few of you know that I do the viper helmets with lightkits
the helmets are vacformed from 2mm hips ( left and right side and chin piece )
greeblys are resin ( eagle )
the light kits come working ( all leds ) they run off a 9v block battery
i send each buyer a pic tutorial when they buy the helmet
so what do they cost
i am going to offer the guys on this board a FRACKING GOOD OFFER
what i can do is this i have to sorts of plastic that i use one is pure white both sides
then i also get a lot of rest plastic ( these our also white but with a print on one side )
now the thing is this you have to spray paint the helmet so what ever colour the plastic is it does not matter ( and i always use the printed side for the inside of the helmet )
so im going to offer both versions of the helmet ( in my rest plastic ) with a working light kit for
85$ to you each
now for shipping i can not do any better than what the post service wants the shipping cost is 55$
DHL worldwide ground shipping ( takes 4 to 8 weeks ) i know thats a pain but airmail is twice as high
i can fit about 4 helmets into one box ( to save shipping costs )
i work on a first come first served rule ( first on my list you get it first )
heres what they look like
IF ANY BODYS INTRESTED DROP ME A PM
