Kind of on that there's two versions being released. The details on both of them are very sketchy it's hard to tell what is what.

It kind-of sounds to me like the main difference of the "Remastered" 16:9 version is expanding the original 4:3 TV aspect ratio version so that it fills a full widescreen by zooming in on the original film and cutting off the top and bottom of the image, almost like an inverse-process of the old pan & scan/letterbox conversion that they used to do with movies on VHS. Don't know if it's worth it. The "Definitive Version", based on what I've heard & read, is closest to the original.
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.
