I just recently own a auction for a 35mm trailer of the 1978 theatrical release of Battlestar Galactica. To say I was impressed by the size. I have had 8mm and 16mm items in the past but this is the 1st time I have had a 35mm sized reel in hand, and it is big. I haven't researched only one place to have it copied to digital, and so far what I have seen it isn't cheap, but if I want to watch it I have to convert it. I converted a 16mm years ago, and posted a low grade quality version of YouTube some years ago. I hope it isn't the same commercial. Below is the 30 second spot that I posted 3 years ago.
“Explore the outer regions of the universe aboard the Battlestar Galactica. Ordinary we use trained daggits to stand watch at night while our warriors slept in their encampments Battlestar Galactica in Senssurround at most theaters. “
....great vid GoldCylon!

I hope the new piece of film isn't the same trailer, but if it is I will have a 35mm version of it for a source. The 1st step in a plan.....yeah I have a plan well not my plan, but part of a project I was enlisted to be a part of.
