I had the honor of meeting Richard Hatch multiple times at various conventions throughout the years. I can honestly say that he was the most kindhearted down-to-earth man. He was nice to fans and always took the time to listen to what people had to say. Long live Captain Apollo and we'll never forget Richard Hatch.

I just met Hatch this past June, and he couldn't have been nicer.

I was on road when I received a phone call. I was shocked, and bit surprised by the question if it was true, but a quick flash back he missed a back in October a Classic Mini Con with many other other other main characters. They had no answers on what was going on. Richard did keep his private life private.
