Original plan for "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero"?
In light of the fact that "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero" was originally intended to have been the second in a series of TV-movies, Baltar having been killed in the first, what was supposed to have gone in the spots now occupied by the added-in scenes of Baltar and Lucifer? Nothing at all? Or were there going to be scenes featuring the Imperious Leader?
Does anyone know?

All scenes Baltar was in were originally planned for the Imperious Leader.
I've got this version of the script if you're interested...

Note some of the date changed. Gun was originally planned to be movie #2 till ABC took it to series. Saga #1 and Living Legend #3 of the 6 month run of movies on TV.

I decided to have a bit of fun with this. Here's the short scene I've modified based on the script provided by Red Eye.

Revised version is up now, thanks again to Cylon-Knight. Finally found the right music cue, so it sounds better now. (Who would have guessed it was the cut called "Blizzard"?)

Anyway, if you're of the Baltar-should-have-died school of thought, now you can make your own "Ultimate Weapon" by cutting all the Baltar scenes out of the telemovie and editing this one in. (Personally, I love Baltar and the IL series, so I don't think I'll be doing that.)

I love 'em both too (especially the IL-Series) but I think they should have given the Leader a bigger role.

I quite agree, and I didn't mean to imply that I was talking about you. It wouldn't have been difficult to put Baltar and the Leader both in that one, for example. And another scene between the two would have been welcome at some point in the series, if only to clarify whether the Leader ever really meant to "extend the hand of truce."
