the colonials had landrams and flying bikes but what would a cylon recovery vehicle look like

I think that the old "Battle for Galactica" ride at Universal had some kind of mobile Cylon transport with a gun mount. You might be able to find some photos in the gallery here.
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.
