Hi all I recently bought the dvd box set of the 2 season of the original series. Now when i was younger i remember an episode where Starbuck crash lands on a planet with a cylon. After a while the cylon and Starbuck becomes sort of friends, and when some other cylons come to collect him he ends up shooting them and thus saving Starbucks life. I can even remember the last scene with the Cylon lying in SB arms and says "Not Cylon, Not Human, friends"

Now did this episode exist or is it something i dreamed up in my youth as I cant find it in the box set.

Yes that was the last episode filmed. That came from Galactica 1980, and Dirk was a guest star for that episode. That episode name was "The Return of Starbuck"

Galactica 1980 hasn't been released officially on DVD, but you can find the version aired on the SciFi channel on eBay now and then.
