This scene was in the telemovie, but was not included in the DVD extras, at least on the original release. As for the recent re-release, "It... it might be there... I don't know." Many thanks to Scott for providing this clip.

Hope we'll see a DVD release of the telemovies sometime...
I know, it's highly unlikely but hey, we still can dream, can't we?

Re: Rare scene from Lost Planet of the Gods
It's interesting how in the telemovies, both here and in the extended scene between Cain and Cassiopeia in Living Legend, you can see a subtle shift in color processing where the excised footage was edited back in.
Another noteworthy thing is that in the Lost Planet telemovie, when Cassie comes out of Serina's room, you just hear the raw audio of the door being slid open on rollers instead of the sound effect that's overdubbed for the episode when the door closes behind Apollo and Boxey. That's probably what emboldened me to try adding music to that "fresh beginnings" scene in the sickbay: the possibility that the audio didn't always get a full treatment for the telemovie... and maybe the sickbay scene was cut early from the episode before it had a chance to be scored.

Did anyone get the new DVD set? Is this scene on it?
