Most likely a forklift hauling a wooden cut out to give the illusion of some type of transport, and a perfect way to keep all the fun stuff hidden.

Reminds me of Doctor Who in 2009 when they used a bright light, a crane, a dangling ladder, a wind machine, and sound effects to simulate a helicopter.
