When they were in the raider as a part of the prisoner transfer also when count iblis delivered their enemy
But I mean when he recognized Starbuck in Lost Planet of the Gods, before any of that had happened.

He said, "Lieutenant Starbuck! How nice of you to drop in." (I guess it's always possible he had given his name and rank to Lucifer, who had passed it on to Baltar.)

One could argue they had met on the Galactica when Baltar was aboard before the "peace conference." It would make sense the top Warrior/Viper pilots were the ones around / helping / guiding / security for the Quorrum members.

Except that the meeting was on the Atlantia.
Guess they might have pulled in warriors from the other battlestars to help out, though.

Starbuck and Apollo brought Adama to the Atlantia! AH HA! They all got to know each other and chit chat in the elevator and what-not. ;)

OK, that's possible. But then Adama had to bum a ride back with somebody else because they were due to go on patrol! And Starbuck had to take off his shirt because he spilled hors d'oeuvres on it at the conference. :nah:

That whole last segment of LPG is so intensely emotional. Great performances all around, but I'd say it's Richard Hatch who really sells it. Especially those reaction shots while Boxey and Serina are talking... they get me every time.
:brokenheart:

Without digging out the episode and watching it, how many of the female pilots are killed in the final dogfight? If memory serves only one is killed and can't remember her name.

Don't know. But Starbuck says, "We lost some good pilots up there."

I only remember one getting blown up and the female Afro-Caribbean pilot says "______'s been hit!".

Not all the deaths may have been shown. Remember, ABC had a limit for onscreen deaths in the 8:00 time slot. That's why they changed the Cylons from living beings to androids.

So originally The Cylons were going to be a humanoid species? Bit like The Klingons then I'd guess! :IL:

The Cylons were more like a Lizard type of creature. That is why the Imperious Leader has that lizard like look. It was a tribute to the original Cylon creatures that designed the Cylon Robots. ABC didn't allow that much killing of a living creature to be broadcast back then, but a robot was not a living creature. So Glen made a few adjustments in the story line as recalled by Apollo when talking to Boxey in the Landram on Carillon and then make these lizard like creatures into robots. Andrew Probert took over the initial designs, and refined the look to what Glen approved.
