Can't get enough from the close-ups of our Eminence...
Wish they'd used the footage back in the day.

It's especially nice when the face lines up with the bluescreen...

This is great mash up of most of the ads that run on ABC promoting the release of Galactica.

For me, the ABC SNM stuff was essential to recapturing the feeling I had on that night.
Wonder if anyone has a tape showing the Camp David Interruption as it happened.
As best I recall, my 10-year-old self was allowed to stay up till 11:20 for the ending, but not late enough to catch the preview of Lost Planet of the Gods. The next day at school, everyone was talking about Lucifer and what kind of character he could be.

That's a fantastic compilation. An epic memory jogger, especially effective with the SNM stuff! And the picture quality is just as I remember, except I think my TV had some additional static and ghosting.

Ha! Thank you. Maybe I could find a program out there that can simulate the static and ghosting.

Is it just me or does the Viper monitor sound like it was lifted from Pac-Man? The final sound effect in the show did not use this and Pac-Man did not get released until 1980. Oh Great Keepers of Knowledge, please explain.

I had the same reaction when I first* heard it. Maybe it was a newly-developed public domain sound that was later incorporated by Pac-Man.
*Well, not first, but actually second.

Silly me. I had the tools already at my disposal. Transport yourself in time and enjoy.
